Lessons are available in 30min or 1hr slots, either one-to-one in Edinburgh or online via Zoom. Whether you wish to pass grade exams or simply learn some good tunes, I'll help you achieve your goal! All ages and abilities are more than welcome.

I have taught players of all ages and abilities for over 15 years, including in primary and secondary schools, universities, masterclasses, and on a range of music courses.  I have taught at St Andrews University, St Mary's Music School, and delivered workshops for Enterprise Music Scotland and the Live Music Now Scheme.  I am currently saxophone tutor at Edinburgh Napier University and Edinburgh University, and lead improvisation workshops in schools across Aberdeenshire for the Youth Music Initiative.

As director of the Scottish Saxophone Academy, I lead the Saxophones At The Burn music course in Edzell twice a year, and host regular 'turn-up-and-play' sessions for local saxophonists in The Big Blaw!
