I offer 1-hour lessons, either one-to-one in Dalgety Bay (Fife, near Edinburgh) or online via Zoom. All ages and abilities are very welcome - whether you wish to pass grade exams or simply learn some good tunes, I'll help you achieve your goal!

I have taught players of all ages and abilities for over 15 years, including in primary and secondary schools, universities, masterclasses, and on a range of music courses.  I have taught saxophone at St Andrews University, St Mary's Music School, and delivered workshops for Enterprise Music Scotland and the Live Music Now Scheme.  I am saxophone tutor at Edinburgh Napier University and Edinburgh University, and lead improvisation workshops in schools across Aberdeenshire for the Youth Music Initiative.

As director of the Scottish Saxophone Academy, I lead the Saxophones At The Burn music course in Edzell twice a year, and host regular 'turn-up-and-play' sessions for local saxophonists in The Big Blaw!
