I spent a year filming performances by some of Scotland’s leading storytellers. Our interactive project website now features a map populated by over 170 stories from across the country.

SCOTTISH SAXOPHONE ACADEMY
I'm a director of the Scottish Saxophone Academy. We host residential weekends, courses, play days, and masterclasses throughout the year.

TRANSGRESSIVE NORTH
I'm a director of Transgressive North, a Scottish arts collective founded in 2011. Recent projects include the annual Folk Film Gathering, 'Map of Stories', our award winning films Blackbird and When The Song Dies, and our critically acclaimed compilation album, BOATS.

SCOTTISH SAXOPHONE ENSEMBLE
The SSA combine jazz, folk and classical music - with a few Gaelic psalms and whirling reels along the way. We have performed in Bangkok, Strasbourg, around Scotland (Glasgow/Perth Concert Halls, Isles of Coll and Mull, Dundee V&A), and in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

WORLD SAXOPHONE CONGRESS, 2012
The World Saxophone Congress is a festival gathering approximately 1000 saxophonists and other musicians from all over the world. It is held every three years. I was assistant director of the 16th WSC, hosted in St Andrews, Scotland.
